The textbook is designed for undergraduate students majoring in 'International Relations' and 'Economics', who are studying Italian at the beginner level (A1).

The goal of the textbook is to develop and reinforce students' reading, speaking, and writing skills at the beginner level, to create a basic vocabulary and expand it through working with adapted excerpts from contemporary Italian literature and press. The basics of political and economic vocabulary are grouped into small glossaries under the title 'Dictionary of the Future Diplomat'. The textbook promotes practical mastery of the fundamentals of the Italian language by practicing the grammatical phenomena studied at the beginner level and developing students' skills in using them in speech in various communication situations.

The book can be used within the framework of teaching students in other majors and programs, as well as in foreign language courses.
