Based on the review of foreign and Russian literature on the issue of coronary heart disease, women are generalized by these characteristics of the anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology of the cardiovascular system of women, the influence of traditional and specific risk factors for the course of the disease. A significant place is paid to the stratification of the risk of ischemic heart disease, the diagnosis, conservative, surgical and interventional treatment of chronic ischemic heart disease and acute coronary syndrome, modern approaches to substitution hormone therapy, primary and secondary prevention in women.
