In the monograph, a fundamentally new look at the value of ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICMP) in the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease (IBS) is substantiated. It is shown that the ICMP, which is customary to be the option of chronic IBS, is the initial stage and background for all subsequent forms of this disease.
The authors emphasize that even in the clinical period of IBS, atherogenic factors cause changes to the MGR endothelium, which leads to the development of hypoxia at the level of the structural and functional unit of myocardium - cordion. The complex of processes leading to damage to microsuds, cardiomyocytes, components, interstics, lymphatic channel and nerve endings. At the same time, adaptive reactions arise, which mask the defeat of myocardium and its vascular system.
As the coronary atherosclerosis progressing and the increase in hypoxia, morphological changes at the level of the entire body are superimposed on the already damaged myocardium. Therefore, ICMP largely determine the development of one or another IBS form and is essentially the basis of the PATO and morphogenesis of this disease.
The monograph is illustrated with a large number of histological, histochemical and electronic microscopic photographs, tables, schemes, and also contains a significant bibliography.
The book is designed for cardiologists, pathomorphologists, pathophysiologists, but it will be helpful and doctors of other specialties
