The collection includes famous historical novels of Marcus Leman.
In the book Rabi Lee to kinging, released by the publishing house Lechim, except for the story, according to which the book was named, two more - Rabbi Elhonan and Prince from Kushi. All of them are devoted to various periods of Jewish history and continue a number of historical novels and the leads that Marcus Lehman became famous.

The story Whether to reign ... refers to the period of Jewish history after the reign of the cruel king of Gordus (Herod) The Judea was then the Roman province, and the inhabitants of it were subjected to the most severe rift of Roman governors. A group of conspirators from young Jews plots raise the uprising, but the rebellion fails, and follow the repression by the Roman authorities. It is noteworthy that Roman conquerors are not described alone with black paint. And among them are found, the truth is not often noble warriors, grateful, faithful friendship. Such is Cayus Cimber, who repressed the help of the main character to Itamar for the fact that he saved his life many years ago. Against the background of political events, the history of love and friendship, betrayal and loyalty, selling tricks and high wisdom is unfolded - all that makes a book exciting interesting.

The second story Rabbi Elhonan carries us to medieval Europe on the banks of the Rhine to the city of Mainz. Here in the prosperous Jewish community lives the great poet Rabbi Shimon with his family ... And then the adventures begin: the child paints the maid-Christian from Big Love who wants to convey the innocent child in the hands of virtue, that is, the church. The Rabbi Shimon family is felt by the lost son for many years, and in the meantime he makes a brilliant career at the church field - such a brilliant, which is impossible to imagine. Crusades swept over European over Europe before they reached the Holy Land, leaving ruins and fires. In this terrible fire, the city of Mainz burned down, his Jewish community was destroyed. But the memory of the Jewish boy, from the very top of the authorities who returned to his people remained in the centuries. The Jewish soul found a faithful way to the Creator.
Completes the book the story Prince of Kusi. This is a story about two brothers - good and evil. They lived in Kushi in France, which was famous for the Jewish scholarship. Scientist Sage Rabbi Shimshon, a representative of the French school of Tosafists, agrees to help his brother of the merchant in a difficult trip to trade affairs. From the very beginning, the moral principles of Rabbi Shimshon face the dishonesty and the irresponsibility of his brother, but, nevertheless, Rabbi Shimshon sacrifices himself for his salvation. Brother returns home with a promise to contain a Rabbi family. But, of course, its own mercantile interests for a dishonest brother higher than the interests of the family ... An unexpected junction completely explains the name of the book Prince of Kushi.

All three stories are combined with a common idea - the idea of eternity of Jewish values compared to the beneficial benefits of the material world. As always, Lehman, good wins, the villain is punished, and the lovers are connected again - and that"s fine. After all, there must be something unshakable in the ever-changing world. It makes no sense to retell the adventures of the heroes of these ages, otherwise it will not be interesting to read them. We can only say that the adventures of the heroes of Marcus Leman are not inferior in the expectancy of the famous adventures of the three musketeers who read the youth of several generations. The Jewish story is much richer than the events than the French, and the nobility of the characters of Jewish warriors and wise men will perhaps give knights of the raincoat and swords hundred points ahead
