A documentary reconstruction of the biography and creative work of the mysterious Italian artist and actress Vera d'Angara, who turned out to be a Russian woman raised in Irkutsk, related through marriage to the poetess Marina Tsvetaeva and the writer Ilya Ehrenburg, and who made a successful artistic career in Mussolini's Italy. Along her life path, she used four surnames and two pseudonyms, as well as "corrected" her year of birth.
