Introduction to graphic magic

Magical symbols are a vast and essential area of the Art. Perhaps there is no School, Line, or Tradition of Magic that does not use sigils, seals, Runes, or other graphic tools to influence the world or the magician themselves. Symbols can affect a person on both a physical (energetic) and psychological (conscious or unconscious) level, even if they are not aware of their meanings. In practice, they can be used in meditation, prayer, ritual, or the creative process to evoke and direct spiritual, psychic, or physical energy for specific purposes or tasks. They can function as catalysts or conductors of transformation and growth, helping to realize and integrate hidden and unrealized potentials and possibilities. Magical symbols can serve as magical tools, protective talismans, objects of worship, or means of initiation and awakening spiritual power. This book is an attempt to present some views of the Western Magical Tradition on the classification and mechanics of signs and symbols used to influence "inner" and "outer" reality.
