The book contains materials from lectures given by the well-known Russian writer, psychologist, and martial arts specialist Alexander Nikolaevich Medvedev. These lectures are dedicated to folk medicine and traditional healing practices.
All nations have their own traditional healing methods that have been carefully collected and preserved in the memories of generations, and eventually recorded over time. The recipes that yielded positive results were preserved, while those that proved to be useless or ineffective in practice were discarded. However, in the 20th century, due to the rapid development of pharmacology and diagnostics, as well as the widespread use of physiotherapy, interest in traditional healing methods sharply declined, and many of them were forgotten.
Only in recent decades has folk medicine once again come into focus. This book introduces readers to the secrets of healing the human body, which represent the collective experience of many generations of healers.
