This book contains step-by-step instructions on the use of new features of ESMAScript 6 instead of obsolete tricks and programming tricks on JavaScript.
The book begins with acquaintance with all embedded ES6 objects and describing the creation of ES6 iterators. Then she will tell how to write asynchronous code using ES6 in the usual style of synchronous code. The following describes the use of the Reflects API reflection program interface to study and change the properties of objects. Then examines the creation of proxy objects and their application to intercept and change the behavior of operations with objects. Finally, outdated modular programming methods, such as IIFE, COMMONJS, AMD and UMD, are demonstrated and compared with ES6 modules that can significantly increase the productivity of websites.
With this book you:
- Explore the use of the new ES6 syntax,
- Get acquainted with the new features of ES6, based on prototypes,
- Learn to execute ES6 code in outdated environments that do not support ES6,
- learn how using Promise objects to write asynchronous code, simpler for reading and accompaniment,
- Lighten the creation and use of iterators, and objects, and generators,
- Get acquainted with object-oriented programming and creating objects using classes,
- Learn to create proxy objects using the PROXY API software interface and use them,
- Get acquainted with the receptions of creating JavaScript libraries using ES6 modules
