The educational program, presented in the publication, determines new guidelines in the moral and patriotic education of children, based on their introduction to the origins of Russian folk culture. The training manual contains a thematic annual work plan in this direction, covers the techniques and methods of the activities of teachers who ensure the effective implementation of the program in the conditions of the DOW. The book is part of the educational-methodical kit, which includes, in addition to the published materials published, workbooks for independent activities of children in a preschool institution and in the family. The content of the kit complies with state educational standards in the direction of development of ideas about a person in history and culture in preschool children
