The workbook presents the allowance for acquaintance of preschool children with St. Petersburg and is intended for classes with children 5-6 years old. Cognitive material about the city is accompanied by various tasks that activate attention, speech, visual memory. Classes are aimed at developing cognitive-speech skills, logical thinking, mathematical skills, spatial orientation and fine motor skills. They are compiled in a game, exciting form for children. Tasks of different levels of complexity are offered. Also, the classes include brief poetic texts that carry cognitive information. The notebook is included in the author’s methodological kit "Petersburg science", which includes methodological recommendations and a working notebook for children 6-7 years old. The manual is intended for practical employees of children"s preschool institutions, parents of preschool children
