International Labor Organization. Conventions, documents, materials

The publication is a collection of documents and materials of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in the field of human labor rights, working conditions and the life of workers. For the first time in one book, the full texts of all ILO Conventions operating in the Russian Federation as of July 1, 2006 are published in the official translation into Russian.
Ratified conventions contain generally accepted international principles and norms regulating the basic rights and freedoms of a person in the field of labor, and their protection. The above international standards of labor rights of citizens in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation have a direct and priority effect, are designed to serve as the basis of rule-making activities and law enforcement practice in regulating labor relations.

Along with the conventions, the reference manual includes the most important documents of the ILO - the Charter of the International Labor Organization, the Regulations of the International Labor Conference, a number of declarations and resolutions, other materials.
Acts of higher legislation, executive and judicial bodies of the Russian Federation are also published, regulating the relationship between ILO and Russia. Reference materials and bibliography are given.
