The book by the most famous contemporary Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin is dedicated to a critical analysis of the scientific worldview of the Modern era and its comparison with Ancient and Medieval beliefs. The scientific theories of Antiquity are usually considered as rudimentary and preliminary forms of modern scientific thinking. The author, drawing on phenomenology, structuralism, and the philosophy of traditionalism, applies a different method: he accepts the truth of ancient and medieval views and critically examines the theories and schools of modern science - physics, sociology, political science, etc. This way, the dignity of the ontology of the Pre-Modern era is restored, based on the active transcendence of God, the immortality of the soul, and the eternity of the Mind.
