The training manual examines in detail diseases of the gastrointestinal tract: irritable intestinal syndrome, related to functional pathology, and quite severe inflammatory diseases-Crohn"s disease and non-specific ulcerative colitis. Information on etiology, pathogenesis and the clinical manifestation of diseases are given. Attention is paid to diagnostic issues, risk factors for the development of diseases and their possible complications. It should be emphasized that in the sections on treatment, the most modern schemes and methods of therapy in these diseases are given, the latest drugs are listed and characterized.
