Professor of psychology and education from Yale University proves on the pages of this book that the most important prerequisite for success in real life is the so-called "applied" (creative) intelligence. It is explained in detail by its differences from the "academic", measured by the IQ coefficient in a variety of tests, and from "emotional" intelligence, as directed primarily on interpersonal relationships. Three components of the creative intelligence expressed in three human abilities are discussed: to create something new, exercise (embody) an idea, analyze the result, situation, situation.
