The main physical principles of operation and features of functioning of various types of gyroscopes are considered. Microelectromechanical gyroscopes and accelerometers with frame and cantilever designs of the sensitive element with capacitive and autoelectronic converters, as well as nano-electromechanical measuring converters for measuring low-intensity thermal fields in the infrared and terahertz regions of the spectrum, have been studied. Methods of manufacturing and local initialization of whisker by alternating current after forming the mechanical structure of the sensitive element are proposed. The synthesis of controllers by the modal control method and identification of sensitivity coefficients to temperature and power supply voltage are described. Examples of the construction, modeling, and testing of control and navigation systems for aerial microdevices based on strapdown inertial blocks, various information-measuring means using inclinometers, optoelectronic observation devices for determining the coordinates of remote objects, and helmet-mounted orientation systems are provided.
