The textbook was developed in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Primary Education and the concept of the “promising elementary school” kit. The textbook begins to teach informatics of primary school students. It can be used both in the presence of computers and in their absence. The textbook includes not only a system of tasks, but also the necessary explanations for their implementation. The first part of the textbook discusses the concept of information, its sources, search, transformation, the first acquaintance with the device of the computer occurs. Many tasks have a game character: children paint, draw, come up with their ciphers, participate in discussions, etc. A CD is attached to the textbook with a set of computer programs that form the skills of working on a computer and help to more deeply learn the material of the computer science course
