The textbook complies with the Federal State Educational Standard (FSES) of 2021. The textbook is part of the educational methodical complex (UMK) for computer science for grades 7-9, which includes an author's program, textbooks, electronic applications, methodological guides, workbooks, collections of tasks, and other components. The UMK can be used after an introductory course in computer science in grades 5-6 or can independently provide the mastering of the mandatory computer science course in grades 7-9, supporting the basic (1 lesson per week) model of subject study at the level of general education. The content of the textbook is structured around topics such as 'Number Systems', 'Elements of Mathematical Logic' (thematic section 'Theoretical Foundations of Computer Science'), 'Basics of Algorithmization', 'Introduction to Programming' (thematic section 'Algorithms and Programming'). The theoretical material is supported by an extensive system for mastering the studied material, aimed at achieving students' personal, metasubject, and subject educational outcomes, preparing students for the state final assessment in computer science in the form of the Basic State Exam (OGE). The principle of invariance to specific computer models and software versions is maintained. It corresponds to the FSES for Basic General Education and the approximate curriculum for computer science. Approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. 5th revised edition.
