The collection is devoted to the memory of the remarkable Iranist of Professor Alexander Leonovich Grünberg, known for his works on the description of the poorly studied languages of Pamirs and Gindukush and a number of other Iranian languages. The contribution of A. L. Grubnberg is especially great in the description of Nuristan languages of Kati, Gengani and Zemaki. His Peru owns the most complete description of the Language of Pashto (1987) In recent years, he, together with the Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan, was Belujsko-Da-Ri-Pashto-Russian dictionary. A. L. Grunberg was distinguished by an active civil position, as evidenced by numerous publications of the start of restructuring.
