The memoirs of the infantry general V. A. Slyusarenko are devoted to the tragic pages of the history of Russia. He went through almost the entire world war, and from the first to the last day on the German Front, he had a chance to serve in the army of the hetman of the Ukrainian state P.P. Skoropadsky, and in the Armed Forces of the South of Russia near A. I. Denikin and Baron P . N. Wrangel, after which I had to actually start a life of more than 60 years in a foreign land.
