Boris Red (1974-2001) was born a poet. For his short poetic life (he began to write at 14 years), more than 1000 poems were born. His childhood and youth were still Soviet, and his youth fell on the "dashing" 90s. He became a poet of the turn of two eras, remaining his soul in Sverdlovsk - the city of his childhood. The collection "in the quarters of the distant and sad" presents verses of 1992-2001, which make it clear why critics and admirers call him the last "Soviet" poet.
