Fate allowed the author - journalist and publicist N.A. Toots and the honored artist of Russia V.V. Nadezhin, whose paintings are in many museums around the world (and even in the collection of the King of Spain), to visit France and Spain, India and Bangladesh, America and England, Syria and Tanzania, Egypt and Zanzibar. Everywhere N.A. Toots, delving into the subject, conducted research, and V.V. Nadezhin painted studies that became part of his series of paintings 'Living Ducks of the Planets'. Exhibitions of these paintings have already taken place in many cities of our country. Essays about travels and paintings formed the basis of this book.
