"No book can teach us truths more essential than the Gospels. Some may say they have read them and not found anything particularly important, which is why they seek their path in Eastern religions and philosophies. Well, that's simply because they have not understood the immeasurable wisdom of the Gospels. Of course, I know they are saturated with familiar texts and wish to change their diet a bit. But it is dangerous to seek this nourishment in teachings that do not correspond to their structure and mentality. Some Western people have studied and applied these teachings beneficially for themselves, but there are few of them. For us, Western people, the teaching of the Gospels is intended. Since you have not deeply studied and meditated on it, you seek something else, but for what purpose? And do not think that the wise men and spiritual Teachers of India feel so happy and proud seeing all these Christians neglecting their religion to dress in yogis, mutter a few Sanskrit words, and recite mantras, burning incense sticks. This only proves that they love exoticism, not simple truth. Believe me, Christians can find in the Bible and numerous works inspired by it everything they need for their spiritual flourishing."
