The idea of this extraordinary book completely belongs to its talented creators - writer Arthur Givargizov and artist Veronika Garanina.
It is no secret that the tales of the kings who entered the book have already been published earlier and well known to fans of the author. However, thanks to the amazing illustrations of Veronika Garanina, made in the technique of embroidery with applique, texts specially selected for this collection, as if played in a new way, revealing many subtle meanings to the reader.
Loars of expensive fabrics, lace and skillful embroidery on top of a simple canvas - like luxurious royal clothes, under which the most ordinary person hid with all his weaknesses, large and small. Pieces of matter from which applications are composed, as if involved in the game, make you peer, recognize, guess where, on whose dress, a scarf of the cloak you could see them before. Everything is so familiar and so in a new way.
The texts behave in the same striking way. In them, an attentive reader will every now and then find vaguely familiar quotes, scraps of somewhere overheard phrases and even his own thoughts, recognizing himself with a smile.
