The breeding situation in controlled populations of dairy breeds is presented, the influence of the Holsteinization process on domestic breed populations has been determined, the breeding value of bulls from domestic and foreign selection in breed populations based on genetic and paratypic factors has been identified, the selection of the best breeding material in breed populations has been carried out taking into account animal breeding. The developed main provisions of the monograph will help increase the efficiency of using breeding resources of dairy breeds of cattle and increase the economic efficiency of milk production.
