The textbook is designed for comprehensive and balanced development of all types of speech activity in an academic and professionally oriented business context. The focus in the textbook is on mastering grammatical, lexical, as well as discursive and intercultural communicative competences. Simultaneously, attention is paid to the development of such professional communicative competences as summarizing texts in English, preparing mini-presentations, arguing one's point of view in oral and written form, writing a business report. For undergraduate and graduate students of the Faculty of International Business and Business Administration of MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, studying in the field of "Management" and learning English as a second foreign language.
