Prosthetics with support on implants in case of severe jaw atrophy
In case of severe jaw atrophy, clinicians often resort to invasive interventions aimed at increasing the lost bone tissue (reconstructive surgeries, sinus lifting). The installation of implants at an angle allows avoiding the need for such surgeries and using implants of relatively large length. In addition, in such cases, immediate prosthetics can be used, for example, using the "All-on-4" protocol, zygomatic implants, or the V-II-V author's protocol.
