Vasily Aksyonov is one of the most beloved Russian writers, an idol of the sixties, and a laureate of the Russian Booker Prize. His stories and novellas became a symbol of the "thaw" period. In the sixties and seventies of the last century, people read and reread, passed on to each other magazines with new works by Vasily Aksyonov.
