Igor Vasilevsky is an outstanding Russian architect, co-author and author of such bright projects as a studio of military artists. MB Grekova in Moscow, Sanatorium boarding house of the USSR Voronovo and the boarding house MK MGK CPSU Otradnaya in the Moscow region, International Pension Friendship in Yalta, Drinking Gallery in Essentuki, Torch Bridge in Salekhard and many others influenced on Development of the Russian architecture of the Newest Time. Being for a long time, the chief architect of project associations and institutions related to the design of resorts, he together with colleagues formed the standards of modern medical and health complexes, solving not only the functional tasks, but also creating expressive memorable images of the facilities of this type. It is for this reason that the Pension Friendship, designed together with an outstanding Soviet designer Nodar Kancheli, was among the fifty of the most unusual structures in the history of architecture.
