The determinant (pointer) monograms is addressed to art historians, biblies, library workers, museums and everyone who is interested in graphic art. The determinant for the first time is so widely represented by the monograms of the artists of the 1918-1945 period. A rather small temporary coverage is due to, on the one hand, the significance of this period in the history of domestic graphics, on the other, the fact that artists of other generations a monogram often coincided (naturally involuntarily) with their followers or predecessors. This manual allows high accuracy to make an attribution of a significant number of books and journal covers, illustrations, posters and other printed products signed by only monograms. The monograms are located in the book in alphabetical order: first - according to the Russian alphabet, then - Latin, and at the end of the list the monograms are predicted that it is difficult to bind to any letter. In the "Index of the names of the artists", the figure refers to the corresponding monogram, the letter "R" in the dates of life indicates that the artist subjected to repression by the state.
