I am traveling alone.

In the forest near Oslo, the body of a six-year-old girl has been found. She is dressed in a doll's dress, has a school backpack on her back, and a ribbon around her neck with the inscription "I travel alone." The brilliant Mia Kruger, possessing a unique investigator's intuition, left the police several years ago and settled on a deserted island in the Norwegian fjords, where she is haunted by painful memories and thoughts of suicide. But when her former boss Holger Munk shows her photos from the crime scene, Mia realizes that the girl in the forest is just the first victim, so returning and solving this case is her duty. However, Mia Kruger does not yet know how deeply she is actually involved in this story...
