The manual contains tasks with elements of play aimed at preparing a child for school. The tasks are arranged in increasing order of complexity and develop logical thinking, visual perception, selective attention, fine motor skills of the hands, and coordination of movements. While completing the tasks, the child learns to compare, correlate the number of objects with the corresponding number, add, subtract, and write correctly in calligraphy.
The manual is intended for preschoolers for individual and group activities. It is a successor to the publication "Learning to Count and Write" by author E.S. Yatskevich.
