The textbook is given a characteristic of the current state of science, the development of hygiene at different historical stages is shown, the problems of hygienic importance of the environment and human ecology are considered. The focus is on health, an algorithm of hygienic diagnostics, which makes it possible to establish changes in the human health state at the donozological (pre -tological) level, as well as information on administrative and legal forms of control of preventive measures and the health care system of every person.
