The textbook systematizes modern theoretical and practical data on hygiene. The historical and methodological foundations of hygiene are presented, a hygienic characteristic and assessment of human health and the environment is given. Materials on accommodation hygiene, water supply hygiene, nutrition hygiene, labor hygiene, hospital hygiene, hygiene of children and adolescents. In some sections, information on hygienic education, hygienic diagnosis and socio-hygienic monitoring of health, the basics of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population and military personnel is given.
The textbook was prepared taking into account the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Professional Education and in accordance with the curriculum in the discipline "Hygiene", approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
Designed for cadets of the Military Medical Academy named after S. M. Kirov and students of medical higher educational institutions studying in the discipline of "hygiene".
