The monograph is dedicated to the analysis of the current state of the inland waterways of the Russian Federation, issues of river hydrology, river hydraulics, and the development of channel processes on navigable rivers. The authors of the book pay particular attention to the assessment of the impact of dredging and rectification works related to ensuring navigational conditions on free-flowing rivers, as well as to the issues of extracting non-metallic construction materials. An evaluation is given of the influence of climate-induced changes in river flow characteristics on the conditions for ensuring navigable depths on the inland waterways of the Russian Federation.
