History of hounds of dogs

Reprint from the publication. Moscow, 1896. Baron Grigory Dmitrievich Rosen (1846-1897) was a hunter and dog breeder. The notes of Baron Grigory Dmitrievich Rosen began to appear first in the journal "Nature and Hunt", and in 1888 a large essay “Dog Hunt” was released there. "History of Hound Dogs" is the most capacious and last edition of Rosen. These were the first specialized publications in Russia about greyhounds and hounds. In the book, he analyzes the influence of climate, terrain and food on the formation of hounds.
