Obviously, he was a hereditary dog hunter - inherited from his grandfather"s lists of greyhounds, which were conducted from the second half of the 18th century, allowed him to make a detailed description of the dog greyhound (1862), and after 20 years he supplemented him (“Nature and Hunt”, 1880, June) He was a good artist - his drawings of greyhounds, wolves, hares decorated the pages of the magazine Nature and Hunting. The book “Four days in the village of a Dog Hunter” was published in St. Petersburg in 1895. Signed by the initials A-in-. The true name and surname of the author remained a mystery for a long time.
