Modern Chinese writer May Jia (1964) is the author of such famous works as “Decoding” and “Conspiracy”. The novel “The noise of the Wind” (2007) presented in the book tells about the events in Hangzhou times of the Japanese-Chinese war (1937-1945) A stressful narrative, intrigue with elements of a classic detective, bright characters - all this was the reasons for the popularity of the novel, which, among other awards, Bas Jin"s prestigious literary award in 2009. In the same year, the novel was filmed and presented at international film festivals.
