Leonid Vladimirovich Shebarshin - a brilliant intelligence professional, a deep analyst and a very honest and decent person - was the last head of the first main department of the KGB of the USSR. He preserved and protected the agents, analyzed information in conditions when its leaders were either agents of influence, or traitors or simply fools.
General Shebarshin said: My soul belongs to intelligence. But Leonid Vladimirovich had another passion. He was a wonderful wit, the author of many aphorisms. As a result, they were typed for a whole book
