The monograph is devoted to the problem of activity of visual perception. As a central, the concept of "man"s gaze is used, interpreted as a perceptual-motor functional body, subjectively submitted in the spatial reference system as a visual egoctor. Conducted theoretical analysis, as well as in detail in the book, experimental studies allowed to describe the mechanisms of removal control, allocate and analyze its functions and designate its place in the system of processes of motor, sensory, perceptual and cognitive level.
