The book presents the fictional biography of the English archaeologist and the Egyptologist, the discoverer of the tomb of Tutankhamon Howard Carter. The name of this person is closely related to the great historical discovery. Carter was lucky enough to find the first and so far the only almost unprofitable Tomb of the Pharaoh of the Middle Kingdom - the last of the rulers of the XVIII dynasty of Tutankhamon. Prior to this event, called the opening of the twentieth century, doubt was the very existence of Tutankhamon, not to mention his addition to the throne and the 9-year-old board. The identity of Tutankhamon seemed like a ghostly, then definitely insignificant. But it turned out that this is one of the key figures of the history of ancient Egypt. It was Tutankhamon that turned the religious reform of Ehnaton, his father, the pharaoh-heretic, reversed, returning Egypt to the traditional faith. But all this managed to find out only thanks to the finds of Howard Carter ...
