Dear adults! Developing not only oral, but also written correct and beautiful speech in a child is an important but very challenging task. This manual will help you in solving this task. Imaginative, vivid, logically structured speech is the main indicator of a child's intellectual level. This manual includes various types of tasks aimed at expanding a child's vocabulary. It contains rich material for exploring word meanings and various shades of these meanings (selection of synonyms, antonyms, explanation of idioms). At the end of the book, there is a dictionary of all synonyms, antonyms, idioms, and some terms mentioned in the manual. The material in this book is aimed at correcting the most common mistakes made by children: - incorrect or imprecise use of words, - disruption of word order in a sentence, - incorrect identification of sentence boundaries in a text, - repetition of the same word. By completing these tasks, children restore distorted texts, create story outlines, come up with titles, edit (correct) texts and sentences, etc. As children master these skills, the tasks gradually begin to serve as auxiliary exercises in preparing children for writing compositions. The more compositions a child writes, the faster and better they will become at it. Dear teachers and parents! Listen to these words and trust an experienced teacher. My students wrote excellent compositions that were later published in many educational publications. However, it is crucial not to correct grammatical errors in a composition or force a child to highlight orthographic mistakes with a green pen. In that case, the student will choose words they are confident in writing or words with fewer orthographic mistakes (instead of a long word, they might write "well" instead of "wonderful," etc.). Also, do not give "F" grades for not writing compositions in class. The transition from oral to written speech is very difficult for many children. But often, these children reveal themselves to be better writers, with short but expressive compositions. Even in the worst composition in your opinion, try to find at least a tiny detail to praise the child for. Praise children more often, always read the best compositions in class. In this manual, children are asked to write a composition based on a prepared plan in each lesson. In some lessons, 1-2 compositions are given to choose from. Thus, in the first grade alone, a student will write more than 10 compositions. The book presented to you is a unique manual that combines the best methodological achievements in teaching composition writing.
