Talking about cultures whose myths and religious beliefs are so different from ours are completely difficult. Without a certain level of knowledge, it is easy to get confused. The purpose of this book is to help you get closer to the understanding of the art of the peoples of Asia, Africa, America and Oceania, to warn against common stereotypes and prejudices.
The book consists of two parts: the task of the first is to give the reader self -confidence, illuminating the main problems in the study of traditional art. The second part is thirty stories-clearance of specific works. They are built as a sequence of issues that can be discussed with children, and divided into conditional age groups - 5-7 years old, 8-10 years old and senior - from 11 to 13 years. Parents and teachers will find ideas and tips in the book that will help to introduce children to the culture of Eskimos, Indians, Jupitues, Aborigines and other peoples. We will try to answer both obvious and unexpected questions, so that none of the comments of children can be confused
