The features of the English pronunciation, which is not always (especially in Russia) is given the necessary attention. They are extremely important for speech correctness. In the first part of the book, we are talking about the notorious "longitude of vowels", which often remains for a student with something ephemeral and unnecessary. The student practically does not know that the longitude of the vowels plays a sense-distinctive role and that for the English speaker is completely different sounds. The second part of the book introduces the peculiarities of the pronunciation of the four "English" sounds, especially important for our student, as there are no direct compliance with these sounds in Russian. As you know, the wrong pronunciation often leads to mutual misunderstanding with an English-speaking interlocutor. Lists containing at least 95% of the respective English words (about 370 words) are attached
