Valentin Dmitrievich Berestov (1928–1998) was a poet, writer, and translator. His writing talent manifested in early childhood, and by his teenage years, K. I. Chukovsky himself predicted a brilliant literary future for V. Berestov. The book "How to Find the Path. Poems and Fairy Tales" includes the best works of the writer from different years. The collection is divided into three sections. The first contains poems by V. Berestov. The second includes fairy tales with Russian folk motifs, but in the author's interpretation. The third section features a cycle of lyrical fairy tales by V. Berestov, which gave the title to the entire collection. Illustrations by E. Bulatov and O. Vasiliev. For elementary school age.
