Mark Ferro is a famous French historian, Deputy Director of the Higher School of Social Sciences (France), an author of numerous historical books, films and television shows.
Book "How to tell the history of children in different countries of the world" first was published in France almost 30 years ago. Written in a popular form, the book raises the most important issues of teaching history in school, the propaganda of historical knowledge, falsification of history, attitudes towards historical heritage. Books Books Mark Ferro went out in Germany, Spain, Japan, Italy, Portugal, Brazil, the Netherlands, as well as in Russia - in 1992. Over the past decades, much has changed - not only in Russia and other countries, but also in issues of teaching history. The relevance of the careful attitude towards historical knowledge is high now more than ever before. Mark Ferro made the necessary changes to the text of the book and essentially added it, in a new form the book was published in France in 2004.
