The stability of American life is based on two kits - a federal state device with clear and consistent division of the branches of power and in a strong civil society with freedom of unions and influential non-governmental organizations. In the first part of the book, America works a detailed description of all levels of government in the United States. The author clearly disassembles the functioning of the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the government at the Federation, state and local self-government - in comparison with Russian realities. The second part presents a brief reference book-guidebook on American non-state institutions.
