To make the anticipation of the New Year not sad and tiring, spend the last 15 days of the outgoing year with an exciting and cozy advent calendar.
A family of bunnies decided to celebrate the New Year in a little house in a forest hotel, where their friends from different countries gathered. Bunnies Tosha and Tasha were chosen to be the secret Santa's postmen. Every day they find themselves in a new house of a foreign guest, give them a gift, and listen to a story about how they celebrate the New Year or Christmas in their country.
Advent contents:
- A huge poster to decorate the room wall,
- 15 sheets with stickers,
- 16 cards with stories,
- 16 cards with tasks,
- A little suitcase where you need to put two cards, a sheet with stickers, and a small souvenir every day,
- A game of 'Find the Differences'.
Instructions:
Start playing 15 days before the New Year!
Before starting the game, cut the cardboard sheets into four parts to get 32 cards. Cut out the details of the suitcase, fold them along the dotted lines, and glue them. Every day, the suitcase should contain a sheet with stickers and two cards: one with a story and one with a task. As a surprise, you can also add a candy, a favorite fruit, a beautiful stone, or a small souvenir.
Help the bunnies decorate the Christmas tree and distribute gifts.
The game starts on December 17. Hang the poster on the wall. Take out two cards and a sheet with stickers from the suitcase. Read the story and stick the main characters in their house, the little deer on the couch next to bunny Tosha, the number of days left until the New Year on the calendar, and the toy on the tree.
Decorate the tree on the poster with sticker toys.
Keep track of the days left until the New Year on the calendar in the bunnies' room.
Read the bottom part of the card with the story to find out where the bunnies will go tomorrow and help them find the right house and leave a gift from Secret Santa nearby.
Complete the tasks from the second set of cards. These winter and holiday activities will help you fill the days before the New Year with pleasant anticipation.
After the game ends, turn the task cards over with the pictures facing up. Choose two similar pictures and ask the child to find five differences.
