Gleb is sixteen, an honor student and athlete from a well-off family, and the only thing bothering him are the sounds. Sometimes they are too loud, almost painful. Doctors do not offer any clear solutions and cannot find any obvious reasons. How to deal with the noise inside? And with the noise around, which makes you feel total loneliness?
Artem Roganov's debut novel plays with stereotypes typical of teenage literature. Coming of age, first love, and family relationships here dramatically resonate with the life of modern society.

Author's note on the book's creation:
It may seem that the story of creating the novel 'How Audible' is told in the novel itself 'How Audible', but in reality, much, of course, remained behind the scenes. The truth is that both the concept and the plot changed several times during the process. This happens when you write about what is happening here and now, but it was a conscious strategy - to relax, to improvise. It is not by chance that jazz plays a role in the book. Somewhere towards the end of 2020, I was toying with the idea of a comedic story about an unlucky student whose grandparents had a deadly falling out over political views and divorced after seventy years. As a result, the grandparents became parents, the unlucky student became a rather smart high school student, and the comedy turned into a tragedy. I started writing 'How Audible' in Moscow, continued in St. Petersburg, and finished the first draft in my hometown of Nizhny Novgorod. But the journey did not end there - for the characters, the book itself, and for me personally.
