In 2008, the Canadian journalist Amanda Lindaut and Australian photographer Nigel Brennan went to Somalia to prepare reports from this hot spot of the African continent. On the way to the refugee camp not far from Mogadishu, they were captured by an armed squad of Islamic fundamentalists. After the liberation of Amanda, in collaboration with Sarah, Corbett issued memoirs about the tests that had fallen out on her share. This is a bitter story about 460 days of suffering and violence, but also overcoming fear and pain. The book received a wide press and a hot reading response worldwide
