The socio-philosophical novel “Hour of the Bull” is one of the main works of the founder of modern Russian fiction, philosopher and paleontologist Ivan Efremov. The action of the novel unfolds on a distant planet TOLMANC, many millennia ago sheltered earthlings who left the Earth on the verge of disaster. The civilization of the Tormansa froze at the stage of totalitarian state capitalism, hopeless and hopeless. By chance, there is a spaceship from the New Earth.
